I had the honour of moderating a fascinating discussion on e-commerce at the Fifth European Trade and Export Forum organised by Executive Club on 11 Dec 2025 at Hotel Bristol in Warsaw.

Together with Piotr Bobiński (Ebury), Lukasz Czarnowski (Interzero), Paweł Dzadz (Lyreco), Artur Turemka (Autopay), and Michał Zimiński (Simon-Kucher) we examined the key markets and trends in digital commerce, how new technologies are changing the consumer experience, and how marketplace platforms are helping SMEs expand into new markets. Unsurprisingly, sustainable commerce and extended producer responsibility were also part of this captivating discussion.

E-commerce is becoming one of the fundamental stimuli of growing global trade. By 2030, some 30% of all retail in Europe will originate online. In Poland, e-commerce has already reached maturity and can quickly absorb innovations. Key trends in 2025 include the rise of AI, social commerce and sustainable development are key trends in 2025. Polish companies are positioning themselves as formidable players, swiftly adapting to technological innovations. They are benefiting from the opportunities that international trade opportunities and leveraging multichannel sales.

Overall, a great event and inspiring day.
